I began blogging in October 2018 because I wanted to find my voice. I had recently come out as transgender at my office and to my family, and I realized that I wanted to share my experiences with others like me. I wanted to help those that would come after me have an easier time in their journey, even if all I could offer them was my example and encouragement.
I realized I had much more to talk about than just trans life and issues. I wanted to discuss philosophy, politics, rights, and my own path through life. For me, blogging is not so much for what I feel inside—that’s more for my poetry—instead, it’s for how I feel about the world around me. Hopefully, my viewpoints will aid others, or at the very least, spark some sort of dialog or thought on the subjects I touch upon.
My blog is located at CandidJana.com.

I discovered my love for writing fiction a few years back. I’ve loved being a storyteller, but I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy writing until recently. Since then, I’ve been writing at a modest pace. Unfortunately, I can not devote as much time as I would like to my writing, so I get my word count in when I’m able. I’ve started two full novels and one trilogy. I’ve completed several short stories, and I’m working on a few more.
I’ve recently discovered the joys of micro fiction and flash fiction, and I am completely enamored with it. I don’t think I’ve quite gotten it down as well as I do short stories, but I’m getting there. One of my forays seems successful, at least. Though, the others might be a bit lacking. I shall let you decide.
i tend to base my fiction in the multiverse I have created for all my stories. This multiverse was born out of my gaming world and my desire for completeness. I was unable to simply create a singular world for my games, I needed to construct an entire creation with rules and beings and machinations. From here, I have spawned so many characters and stories that I can never actually tell them all to another person in my lifetime. However, I can craft a fine set of curated stories in my writings that will maintain a consistency across them all. And I can pick the best ones about which to write and publish!
My fiction blog is located at CandidJana.com/Kunjara; however, you may also find a listing of my stories located on my Fiction Page.
